Redskins' Statement On Lions' Owner

Washington Redskins owner Daniel M. Snyder released the following statement of condolences on the passing of Detroit Lions owner William Clay Ford Sr.:

"I am saddened to learn of the passing of William Ford, Sr. On behalf of the entire Washington Redskins organization, I would like to extend my condolences, thought and prayers to the Ford family and the Detroit Lions.

"He was pioneer in the business world and his legacy not only impacted the National Football League but the footprint of American history."
