Linebcaker Ryan Kerrigan owns the best (or at least the easiest) sack dance on the team, but he had to be convinced to break his moves out on the field.
Fellow linebacker Will Compton had been pleading with Kerrigan, who did not have a sack dance his first three years in the league, to adopt WWE wrestler Shawn Michaels' famous pose.
"I've always been a big WWE guy growing up and I always told Ryan he needed to hit the Shawn Michaels pose every sack he got," Compton said. "He skipped out on it the first couple times and I'd be in his year yelling at him like, 'Bro, what are you doing? Hit the Shawn Michaels dance!'"
In a 2014 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kerrigan recorded four sacks and unveiled Michaels' pose. The rest was history.
"It kind of caught on like wildfire and has become its own little entity, so it's been cool to see it's gained so much popularity and I hope we see a lot more of it this year."
