The Washington Redskins' special teamers have seemingly been everywhere of late.
Four days ago, longsnapper Nick Sundberg and kicker Kai Forbath were posting pictures of their colorful outfits as they enjoyed the scenery at The Preakness.
On Wednesday, Sundberg and Forbath were joined by punter Tress Way as special pregame guests at the Washington Nationals' game against the New York Yankees at Nats Park in D.C.
Forbath captioned his Instagram photo above with "Hey Nats we're ready if you need us!"
Although the Nationals seem to be doing fine without the services of Sundberg, Forbath or Way, their appearance on Wednesday certainly does bring to mind an interesting ceremonial first pitch idea.
I can say with almost 100-percent certainty that if the Nats would let Sundberg longsnap a pitch, Forbath placekick one and Way punt the baseball to the catcher, it'd be the first time in Major League Baseball history such a feat has been accomplished.
Let's get on that one ASAP.
