It's about that time again, folks.
In less than two weeks the draft will kick off in Chicago, as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will read off the names of different prospects that have officially ended a long -- and sometimes draining -- draft process by being picked by one of 32 NFL teams.
As you watch the video above, here are some nuggets to keep in mind about this year's draft:
- You know by now that the Redskins currently hold the No. 5-overall pick, but they also have the following picks as well: 38th-overall, 69th-overall, 105th-overall, 141st-overall, 182nd-overall and the 222nd-overall.
- This is the first time the NFL Draft is taking place in Chicago since 1964.
- The NFL this week released a list of 26 top prospects that will attend the draft in-person.
- The first round will start at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, the second round and third rounds will be selected starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 1, while selections in the last four rounds will kick off at noon on Saturday, May 2.
- The Redskins will be hosting their annual Draft Day Party that Saturday, where Grammy-nominated rapper and diehard Redskins fan Wale will perform some of his hit songs and announce the team's fourth-round draft pick live. Click on this link for more details.
