"Sharknado 3," yes, now the third movie in that ridiculous, amazingly corny, wonderfully preposterous Syfy disaster franchise, has been filming this week in Washington, D.C.
And guess who will be making a nice, buttoned down suit cameo?
Redskins offensive tackle Tom Compton.
As captured in this behind-the-scenes tweet, Compton, who recently re-signed with the team, is looking dapper playing a reporter who interviews Michelle Bachmann, playing herself.
Apparently, he's asking her about the rising population of Great white sharks that are presumably due to rain down upon the D.C. metro area.
You would think Compton, who protects quarterbacks for a living, should be using his own skillsets in this movie.
Then again, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is playing the President of the United States.
According to IMDB.com, the movie is scheduled to premiere in July. We'll just have to wait and see how good of a journalist Compton really is.
