EA Sports over the weekend began to release player ratings for Madden 17, the latest edition of the company's beloved football franchise.
While it will still be a few weeks before we see player ratings for all 32 NFL rosters, EA Sports on Sunday announced the 10 offensive linemen with the best ratings on this year's edition.
As a perennial Pro Bowler and an NFL Top 100 player, Washington Redskins tackle Trent Williams was expected to land somewhere on the list, and he did.
The seven-year veteran has an overall rating of 92, good enough for the sixth best rating among his position group.
Williams has an 88 rating in run blocking, a 95 rating in passing blocking and a 92 strength rating.
"With 75 speed and 81 acceleration Williams will play great in space," EA Sports writes. "Utilize his speed and quickness by calling stretch running plays as well as roll out play action passing plays."
So just who landed higher than Williams on the list?
Checking in at No. 1 is Cleveland Browns tackle Joe Thomas with a 97 overall rating followed by Cowboy Tyron Smith (97), Raven Marshal Yanda (97), Bengal Andrew Whitworth (93) and Cowboy Zack Martin (92).
You'll be able to play with Williams and the rest of his Redskins teammates on Aug. 23 when the game is officially released.
