Newly acquired Redskins tight end Vernon Davis guest starred on an episode of "BattleBots" Thursday night.
The show consists of homemade robots that battle against one another in a single elimination tournament until one bot is crowned champion and cash money is given to the victor.
The show also follows the backstories of the bot builders, how they constructed their respective bots and their journey through the tournament.
After being revamped last year from its original series, which debuted back in 2000 on Comedy Central, the second season has invited star guest judges, and Davis was happy to oblige.
For those who are invested in the show -- SPOILER ALERT -- unfortunately for Davis, each of the four battles ended in knockouts so the former Maryland Terp did not get the chance to exercise his judgement. Despite that, Davis still had plenty of fun Thursday, as he posted a picture of him and the other judges reacting to bots battling.
The tight end has been a fan for a while and Davis soaked up participating in one of his favorite shows.Â
Former guest judge, Adam Judge (formerly known as MythBusters co-host), was in fact a former participant 21 years ago. Who knows, maybe Davis will find this as a new hobby come next offseason, fighting for a different kind of championship.
