It may be late March, but Washington Redskins cornerback David Amerson is already getting his body ready for July and beyond.
The third-year cornerback on Thursday posted the above video on his Instagram account showing just a peek at his offseason work.
During the NFL Annual Meeting earlier this week, head coach Jay Gruden said Amerson – who has started 23 games during his first two seasons in the NFL – is working hard to improve his overall game and believes it will pay off in 2015.
"I think with the addition of Coach Fewell and Joe Barry and a different system for him a little bit, hopefully, he'll come with some more confidence and make a major jump," Gruden told the media at the NFC Coaches Breakfast. "But he needs to make a major jump moving forward. A lot of our guys do, and hopefully, David is one of them."
