Mike Mayock has his No. 1 player going to the Washington Redskins.
In his mock draft, Mayock has the Redskins nabbing USC defensive lineman Leonard Williams with the fifth-overall pick.
At 6-foot-6, 300-plus pounds, Mayock believes Williams can be an instant contributor along any defensive line.
"He's scheme diverse," Mayock said. "He can play in the 3-4, the 4-3. It doesn't matter."
Earlier today The Redskins Blog also highlighted the fact that former general manager Charley Casserly also has the Redskins taking the All-American.
"Well, I tell you what, Scot McCloughan, put Leonard Williams right here," he begins. "He addressed yesterday, if Leonard Williams is there, we don't need him, we can trade him. So this could be a trade pick, but I tell you what. He's the best defensive player in the draft."
