As if these defensive players don't release all their aggression on the field, it seems like the shooting range can offer a similar cathartic release in the offseason.
Over the weekend, both linebacker Will Compton (along with offensive lineman Shawn Lauvao tagging along, not pictured) and defensive end Jason Hatcher picked up some guns in controlled shooting ranges and practiced their accuracy, as seen in a few Instagram posts.
"Artillery. Target shooting. Fun in the country. Happy to be home. Louisiana raised," Hatcher captioned the photo.
Compton, it seems, signed up for a more interactive experience, shooting at moving targets and hiding behind walls and obstacles as though on a real-life SWAT mission.
At the end of his last trial, you can hear his instructor say “beautiful,” so you're aware Compton knows what he's doing, besides just looking like he does.
Whether he can implement these real-life skills into "Call of Duty" is another task completely.
