After linebacker Preston Smith was voted as the league's Rookie of the Week for Week 16 after sacking Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford three times, wide receiver Jamison Crowder is now up for Week 17 Rookie of the Week honors.
Crowder was expected to play more than usual on Sunday, and he did not disappoint, as the Duke product finished the day with five receptions for 109 yards and a touchdown.
His five receptions pushed up to 59 catches on the season, surpassing Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Monk (58 receptions in 1980) for the most catches by a Redskins rookie.
