It was a total team effort for the Washington Redskins in their 24-10 victory on Sunday over the St. Louis Rams at FedExField.
The defense held the Rams to just 10 points while Matt Jones headlined an efficient offense with 123 rushing yards and two scores.
Redskins head coach Jay Gruden was pretty fired up by their performance.
"I don't have time to congratulate the guys that played well, because y'all played well," Gruden said, referring to the fact that the performance of each and every player resulted in the 14-point win over the Rams.
The Redskins, of course, now have just three days before their next game – a Thursday Night Football matchup with the New York Giants.
"Last year, we were 1-1 at the time," Gruden said. "This year is different. We're a different team, we're a different people."
