With the Redskins' season complete, and before some players have packed up everything and made their way home, there's still time to enjoy a night out in Washington, D.C.
Linebackers Will Compton and Mason Foster, who became pretty close in the latter half of the season once both were named starters, took advantage of their time here.
Attending the Capitals game last night, both had the chance to see Alex Ovechkin honored -- before the puck drop at center ice -- with a gold stick for scoring his 500th career goal.
Well, because they attended the game, and because they were part of an NFC East division championship, Compton and Foster got to meet the legend in person after the game and pose for a few photos.
The Caps beat the Canucks, so there were plenty of smiles to be had.
