LANDOVER, Md. – The Washington Redskins announced today that acclaimed actor Michael Ealy, best known for his work as an executive producer and title character in The Perfect Guy, will attend the Redskins' annual Draft Day Party FedExField on Saturday, April 29.Ealy will announce the team's fourth-round pick live on stage as part of the day's festivities.
Ealy currently stars in the hit drama series "Being Mary Jane" and was previously the lead suspect in the second installment of ABC's "Secrets and Lies." He is also starring in and is an Executive Producer for the remake of Jacob's Ladder slated to be released early 2018.
The Perfect Guy *opened number one at the box office and earned Ealy an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture. Other recent roles include *Think Like a Man *and *Think Like a Man Too, About Last Night, Underworld: Awakening, For Colored Girls, Takers *and *2 Fast 2 Furious.
"I'm excited to come back to the Washington, D.C., area to be a part of the Redskins Draft Day Party," said Ealy. "I grew up a Redskins fan and am looking forward to being in my hometown again."
Admission and parking for the Draft Day Party are free for all fans. Fans will be admitted through the Comcast SportsNet Gate (Gate H) at 11 a.m. and the event will conclude at 3 p.m. Parking lots open at 10 a.m. For more details on the Draft Day Party and to register for the event, visit www.redskins.com/DraftDay.
