LANDOVER, Md. – FedExField, the home of the Washington Redskins, will host the inaugural Capital Beer Classic presented by Bud Light on Saturday, July 30. The event will include unlimited sampling of beer and wine from more than 60 breweries and wineries with a focus on the local beer and wine community.
In addition, there will be live music on the ESPN 980 stage at the Bud Light Party Pavilion, the area's best food trucks will be serving up original dishes, and tailgating games – corn hole, beer pong and giant Jenga – will be available. Attendees will also have the chance to mix and mingle with Redskins Alumni & Cheerleaders.

"The Capital Beer Classic will give attendees the chance to come out and interact with many local and regional breweries and vineyards in a festival atmosphere, while integrating FedExField's unique setting, Redskins Alumni, Cheerleaders and live entertainment. Early bird tickets are on sale now for $40 (General Admission) and $60 (VIP). General Admission guests can select from two different sessions, noon – 3 p.m. or 5 – 8 p.m. VIP ticket holders receive an extra hour of sampling during session times 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 4 – 8 p.m. There is also a designated driver ticket for $25 if people want to enjoy the festivities without sampling beer or wine.
