For the first time since both Charles Mann and Dexter Manley both hit the feat during the 1985-86 seasons, the Washington Redskins have a player who has recorded back-to-back seasons of at least 10 sacks.
Pro Bowl linebacker Ryan Kerrigan entered Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos with nine sacks on the year to his name. But with two third quarter sacks, Kerrigan bumped up his season total to 11. He now has recorded at least 10 sacks in three of the last four years.
For his efforts, Kerrigan was named this week's Kia MVP of the Game.
