A list of stats and notes from the Washington Redskins' 9-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, presented by BDO by the Numbers, as compiled by Redskins Public Relations.

OFFENSE

  • Quarterback Case Keenum started in his 60th career game and finished 9-for-12 for 77 yards.
  • Running Back Adrian Peterson had a game-high 20 carries for 81 yard (4.1 avg.).
  • It is the first time since Week 7-Week 8 of 2018 that Peterson has posted back-to-back 20-plus carry games.
  • Peterson finished with 75-plus yard in consecutive games for the first time since Week 7-Week 8 of 2018.
  • Peterson's 14-yard run to open the game is the longest opening play of the season.
  • Running Back Wendell Smallwood finished with 23 yards on five carries. He also hauled in an 18-yard reception. His 17-yard run is his longest of the season and longest since the Week 9 of the 2017 season.
  • Smallwood's 18-yard reception in the second quarter is his longest of the year and longest since Week 10 of last season.
  • Wide Receiver Terry McLaurin finished the game with one reception for 11 yards.
  • Wide Receiver Trey Quinn notched a team-high 30 receiving yards on two receptions.
  • Wide Receiver Steven Sims Jr. registered a team-high three receptions.
  • Tight End Jeremy Sprinkle made his 20th career start and hauled in two receptions for 13 yards.

DEFENSE

  • Defensive Tackle Jonathan Allen recorded seven tackles (five solo), the second most of his career [10].
  • Defensive Tackle Daron Payne finished the game with seven solo tackles, the second most of his career [eight]. His seven solo tackles is a career high.
  • Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan started and is still one of six players in the NFL to have started every game since the start of the 2011 season.
  • Kerrigan finished the game with four tackles (two solo), including one for a loss and split a sack with LB Montez Sweat.
  • Kerrigan now has 2.0 sacks on the season and has 86.5 career sacks. He needs five sacks to pass Dexter Manley (91.0) for the Redskins franchise record.
  • Linebacker Montez Sweat finished the game with four tackles (one solo) and split a sack with LB Ryan Kerrigan.
  • Linebacker Jon Bostic registered seven tackles (five solo), including one for a loss. He has five straight games with at least seven tackles, the longest streak of his career.
  • Linebacker Noah Spence registered his first sack of the season. It was his first sack since Week 2 of the 2017 season when he was a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
  • Safety Montae Nicholson had one tackle and one pass defensed. The tackle was the 100th of his career.
  • Safety Troy Apke registered six tackles (five solo), one pass defensed and intercepted his first career pass, which he returned 39 yards.
  • Apke's 39-yard interception return is the longest for a Redskin since CB Josh Norman had a 40-yard return against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13 of the 2018 season.

SPECIAL TEAMS

  • Punter Tress Way finished the game with four punts for 198 yards (42.0 avg.) with a long punt of 57 yards.
