Team:

• The Redskins finished the 2013 season with a 20-6 loss to the New York Giants in front of an announced crowd of 80,177 people at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
• The Redskins finished the season with 355 completions, setting a new team record by surpassing the 349 completions recorded by the 2010 squad.
• The Redskins also set a team record for pass attempts in a season, throwing 611 times this season to break the previous franchise mark of 605 attempts in 2010.
• The Redskins started left tackle Trent Williams, left guard Kory Lichtensteiger, center Will Montgomery, right guard Chris Chester and right tackle Tyler Polumbus on the offensive line for the 16th time this season. Washington lost only one man-game to injury on the offensive line in two years during the 2012-13 seasons, as this combination has started 31 of the team's last 32 regular season games.
• The Redskins finished the season with 5,915 yards of offense and have now posted 12,046 offensive yards in the last two seasons, breaking the team's previous two-year best of 11,932 yards across the 1988-89 seasons.
• The Redskins gained 2,164 rushing yards this season, ninth-most in franchise history. The team averaged 4.77 yards per rush, the third-highest average in team history.
• The Redskins forced three turnovers for the first time since totaling four takeaways in Denver in Week 8. Washington recorded two interceptions in a game for the first time since Week 9 vs. San Diego.
• Washington's opponents for the 2014 season will be finalized this evening. The Redskins' 2014 home slate will include the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans and the fourth-place NFC South finisher (either Atlanta or Tampa Bay, pending the results of today's late afternoon games). The Redskins' will face the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts on the road.

Offense:

• Wide receiver Pierre Garçon caught six passes for 56 yards (9.3 avg.), finishing the season with a team-record 113 receptions for 1,346 yards.
• Garçon became the third player in NFL history to record at least five receptions in all 16 games of a season since the adoption of the 16-game schedule in 1978, joining Jacksonville's Jimmy Smith (2001) and Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown (this season).
• Garçon leads the NFL in receptions as of the conclusion of Sunday's 1 p.m. games (113). If Garçon ends the evening atop the NFL in receptions, he would be the first Redskin to post the most catches in the league in a season since Art Monk in 1984.
• Garçon's1,346 receiving yards are the sixth-most in a season in team history, trailing Santana Moss (1,483 in 2005), Bobby Mitchell (1,436 in 1963), Henry Ellard (1,397 in 1994), Mitchell (1,384 in 1962) and Art Monk (1,372 in 1984).
• Garçon's113 receptions this season are tied with Rod Smith (Denver, 2001) for 17th-most in a season in NFL history.
• Running back Alfred Morris gained 62 yards on 16 carries (3.9 avg.) to finish the season with 1,275 rushing yards on 276 carries (4.6 avg.).
• Morris' 1,275 rushing yards are the 11th-most in a season in team history.
• Morris has rushed for 2,888 yards in his first two NFL seasons, ninth-most in NFL history.
• Tight end Logan Paulsen caught four passes to finish the season with 28 receptions, surpassing his previous career high of 25 receptions last season.
• Quarterback Kirk Cousins set a career high with 49 pass attempts.

Defense:

• Linebacker London Fletcher, the NFL's active Iron Man, played in his 256th consecutive regular season game. His 256 consecutive games played are the fourth-longest in NFL history, trailing only Jeff Feagles (352), Brett Favre (299) and Jim Marshall (282).
• Fletcher started his 215th consecutive regular season game, the longest streak by a linebacker in NFL history.
• Linebacker Perry Riley, Jr. registered his third sack of the season, dropping Giants quarterback Eli Manning in the first quarter. The sack was Riley's first since Week 6 at Dallas.
• In the second quarter, safety Brandon Meriweather forced his first fumble as a Redskin. It was his first forced fumble since Week 17 of the 2009 season at Houston as a member of the New England Patriots.
• The fumble was recovered by cornerback Josh Wilson, the 11th of his career and his career-high third of the season. It was his second recovery in as many games, marking the second time in his career he had posted fumble recoveries in back-to-back weeks (Weeks 2-3 of 2012).
• Wilsonrecorded his first interception of the season, picking off Manning in the second quarter. It was his first interception since Week 17 last season vs. Dallas.
• SafetyReed Doughty registered his first interception of the season in the third quarter, picking off Giants quarterback Curtis Painter. The interception was the third of his career.

Special Teams:

• On the ensuing possession, kicker Kai Forbath converted a 31-yard field goal attempt. He added a 49-yard field goal later in the quarter, pushing his streak of consecutive successful field goal attempts to 14.
• Punter Sav Rocca totaled a career-high 364 yards on nine punts, breaking his previous high of 362 punting yards at Cincinnati as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 16, 2008.
• Roccapunted seven times in the first half, the most by a Redskin in the first two quarters in records available dating back to 1991.
