A list of stats and notes from the Washington Redskins' 33-7 loss to the New England Patriots, presented by BDO by the Numbers, as compiled by Redskins Public Relations.

OFFENSE

• Quarterback Colt McCoy started his first game of the season and finished the game 18-for-27 for 119 yards.
• McCoy appeared in his 40th career game and made his 28th career start. It was his first game action since suffering a season-ending injury against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13 of the 2018 season.
• Running Back Chris Thompson had a team-high five receptions for 17 yards. He also carried the ball four times for 21 yards (5.3 avg.).
• Thompson extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 28. His current streak is seventh among active running backs, trailing David Johnson, Christian McCaffrey, Tarik Cohen, Alvin Kamara, Le'Veon Bell and Joe Mixon.

• Wide Receiver Terry McLaurin finished the game with a team-high 51 receiving yards on three receptions.
• Wide Receiver Steven Sims Jr. hauled in two receptions and also had a 65-yard touchdown run. The run was the fourth-longest rushing touchdown in franchise history and was the sixth longest overall run in franchise history.
• Sims Jr.'s 65-yard touchdown run was the second longest touchdown run by a Redskins rookie. The longest touchdown run by a Redskins rookie was on Oct. 14, 2012 when Robert Griffin III recorded a 76-yard touchdown run against the Minnesota Vikings. It was the third-longest overall run by a rookie in Redskins history.
• Sims Jr.'s 65-yard touchdown run is the longest by a rookie so far this season.
• Tackle Morgan Moses made his 70th career start.
• Guard Ereck Flowers Sr. made his 60th career start.

DEFENSE

• The Redskins notched the most sacks against New England in a single game since the Houston Texans dropped Tom Brady five times during a Week 3 contest in the 2017 season.
• The Redskins are the first team to sack Tom Brady four-plus times and intercept him in a single game since the Eagles sacked him four times and snagged two interceptions against him in Week 13 of the 2015 season.
• The Redskins recorded three sacks in the first half of the game and it was their second time accomplishing that feat this season. The team registered three-plus sacks in the first half of three games last season.
• The Redskins registered a sack yardage total of 36 yard on four sacks. The 36 total yards registered via the sack is the most since the team notched six sacks for 37 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15 of the 2018 season. 
• The Redskins intercepted a pass against the New England Patriots in their third-consecutive contest. They are currently tied with Indianapolis, Seattle, San Francisco and Tampa Bay for the longest active streak against New England. 
• The Redskins held the Patriots to six points in the first quarter, which is New England's lowest output of the season.
• Defensive Lineman Jonathan Allen finished the game with five tackles (four solo), including one for a loss and one sack for 10 yards. The sack was the 10th of Allen's career.
• Allen started in his 25th career game as a Redskin.
• Defensive Lineman Daron Payne recorded one solo tackle, one tackle for loss and one sack for nine yards. The sack was the first of the season for Payne and it is the sixth of his career.
• Defensive Lineman Matt Ioannidis notched five tackles (three solo), including one for a loss and split a sack with Ryan Kerrigan. Ioannidis now has 1.5 sacks on the year.
• Ioannidis and Kerrigan's combined sack was the first combined sack of the season for the Redskins.
• Defensive Lineman Tim Settle notched his first-career sack and added one solo tackle.
• Linebacker Ryan Kerrigan recorded his 133rd consecutive regular season start, the longest active streak among active NFL linebackers. Kerrigan has not missed a start in his NFL career.
• Kerrigan remains as one of six NFL players (and only three non-quarterbacks) to have started every game since the start of the 2011 season (Brandon Carr, Patrick Peterson, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan and Matthew Stafford).
• Linebacker Cole Holcomb finished with a game-high 10 tackles (eight solo).
• Linebacker Jon Bostic registered seven tackles (five solo).
• Safety Montae Nicholson finished the game with six tackles (five solo), one pass defensed and one interception.
• It is the first time in Nicholson's career that he has registered multiple interceptions in a single season.
• Safety Landon Collins registered seven solo tackles, including one for a loss.
  Cornerback Quinton Dunbar finished the game with four tackles (three solo) and one pass defensed. Dunbar appeared in his 50th career game.
• Dunbar registered his 30th career pass defensed.

SPECIAL TEAMS

• Punter Tress Way finished the contest with career-highs in punts (10) and yards (500) and he pinned four punts inside the 20 yard line.
• Way's four punts pinned inside the 20 yard line is tied for the second-most in a single game in his career.
• Way's first punt of the day was the 375th of his career.
• Kicker Dustin Hopkins connected on his only extra point attempt of the day.
