The Washington Redskins announced today the opening of their newest Redskins Team Store in the Washington D.C. area located at the Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Va.
The new super store will offer the largest variety of Redskins jerseys, hats, T-shirts and apparel in the region and will serve as the official merchandise headquarters for Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.
"We are very excited to add this dynamic new location to our list of retail stores as we continue to bring the Redskins experience closer to all of our outstanding fans," said Redskins Chief Marketing Officer Mitch Gershman. "This store has been designed with the Redskins fan in mind and will offer an exciting one-stop shop for all of their Redskins needs."
An official grand opening will take place at the Fair Oaks Mall location from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to win an autographed Robert Griffin III jersey, a Team Store shopping spree, team apparel, and a V.I.P. Prize Package that includes tickets to the Redskins' game against the Dallas Cowboys on Dec. 30.
ESPN980 and Sports Saturday with Al Galdi will broadcast live from the store until noon to help mark the grand opening.
In addition to the new store at Fair Oaks Mall, the Redskins have store locations at FedExField in Landover, Md., Tyson's Corner Center in McLean, Va., Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, Md. and at Dulles Town Center in Dulles, Va.
