"The Bram Weinstein Show" debuts July 25th on ESPN 980

ROCKVILLE, Md. – Red Zebra Broadcasting announced today that Bram Weinstein is joining ESPN 980's team, hosting "The Bram Weinstein Show" weekdays from 11am to 1pm. Debuting July 25th, "The Bram Weinstein Show" will deliver provocative sports talk led by Weinstein, whose passion for DC sports runs deep, having grown up in Silver Spring, Md.

Weinstein (@RealBramW) returns to the nation's capital after anchoring at ESPN since 2008, including as a SportsCenter host from 2010 to 2015. This will be Weinstein's third stint with ESPN 980, having interned at the station during his days at American University and then working as a show host and Washington Redskins beat reporter from 1999 to 2008.

"I always knew my career would bring me back to Washington," said Weinstein. "What I never envisioned was getting this particular opportunity. It's a surreal honor. I can't wait to get the show started."

"The Bram Weinstein Show" joins a sizzling ESPN 980 lineup, featuring 17 hours of live and local sports talk Monday through Friday. Fans can hear all of the dynamic programming on WTEM 980 AM, WWXT 92.7 FM and WWXX 94.3 FM as well as globally to a worldwide audience on the ESPN 980 and Redskins mobile apps.

7-11 a.m.                      Cooley and Kevin with Chris Cooley and Kevin Sheehan

11 a.m.-1 p.m.               The Bram Weinstein Show

1-4 p.m.                        Inside the Locker Room with Doc Walker, Brian Mitchell and Scott Jackson

4-7 p.m.                        The Sports Reporters with Steve Czaban and Andy Pollin

7-10 p.m.                       DMV Game Time with Tim Murray and Nick Ashooh

"Bringing Bram back to DC completes an incredible lineup of entertaining sports programming on ESPN 980," said Terry Bateman, Chairman of Red Zebra Broadcasting. "Bram is guaranteed to provide listeners with a unique, compelling and entertaining approach to discussing the DC sports landscape."

Veteran sports anchor Scott Linn (@scottlinn980) will also join Weinstein in studio for every show. Linn has been a show host and anchor at ESPN 980 since 1993. Nationally, he has also co-hosted "The Steve Czaban Show" for the past 13 years.

In addition to daily sports talk, ESPN 980 remains the long-time flagship home of the Washington Redskins Radio Network. Burgundy and gold fans will join Larry Michael, Pro Football Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen, Cooley and Walker for all of the action during live game broadcasts all season long.

Recently debuted Redskins programming on the station includes Redskins Saturday with Andy Pollin, airing each Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon, and daily Redskins 365 reports.

Beginning July 28th, "Cooley and Kevin", "The Bram Weinstein Show", "Inside the Locker Room" and "The Sports Reporters" will be broadcasting live from Redskins Training Camp, providing listeners with in-depth analysis as Washington prepares for the 2016 NFL season.

Beyond serving as the home of live Redskins programming, the station remains committed to its diverse offering of live game broadcasts. ESPN 980 is Washington, D.C.'s radio home for the Maryland Terrapins as well as the NBA Finals, World Series, College Football Playoff and NCAA Tournament.
