WASHINGTON REDSKINS AND USAA TO HOST COMBINE FOR 50 LOCAL MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS AT TRAINING CAMP ON FRIDAY
WHO: The Washington Redskins, USAA, the Official Military Appreciation Sponsor of the Washington Redskins, and local military service members.
WHAT: USAA and the Washington Redskins are inviting 50 local military representing each branch of service to participate in an NFL Combine-style event. The Combine represents the evolution of military appreciation events that USAA and the Redskins are creating to foster understanding and appreciation for the local military community. Each service member will participate in football drills similar to those used by NFL coaches to evaluate potential talent. Following the combine, participants will enjoy a VIP hospitality area to watch the Redskins team practice, and then have a special meet & greet with the players post practice for photos and autographs.
WHEN: Friday, July 31
(event takes place immediately preceding team's practice)
8 a.m. Combine begins
10 a.m. Combine concludes
10:30 a.m. Redskins walkthrough begins
12 p.m. Approximate time for player meet-and-greets with military service members in VIP area
